Wild Jordan is part of the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature (RSCN) and the trading name for the Society’s eco-tourism and handicraft enterprises. RSCN itself is a non governmental organization devoted to the conservation of Jordan’s natural environment. Created in 1966 under the patronage of His Majesty, the late King Hussein, the Society has been given responsibility by the Jordanian Government for protecting the country’s wildlife and wild places.
